Tuesday, May 27th, 2008
Several single botanicals and combination formulas just may be beneficial and well tolerated-without the side effects of any drugs or addition drug treatments for both acute and chronic rhino sinusitis. Brome lain, for example, is from the fruit stem of the pineapple (Ananas comosus) and it appears to fight the inflammation and swelling of the nasal mucosa, and significantly improving breathing function and relieving nasal discomfort. Cineole , which is an essential oil in Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus), is an effective botanical to help relieve nasal decongestants, significantly reducing symptoms after four to seven days.
Some herbal combinations make useful adjunctive treatments and may help relieve you of your nasal decongestion or even your child’s.
